BJ CHAMPION

From its formation, Managing Director Barry Champion has worked on building a company with a highly skilled workforce and a strict quality control policy that would very quickly earn the company an enviable reputation on a regional scale.

Over the ensuing years, many contract awards and projects demanded a comprehensive and more integrated offering.

In 1999, three new companies were formed - Contractors, Brickwork and Scaffolding, giving the company a more coherent structure, under the umbrella of The Champion Group of Companies, based in our headquarters in Basingstoke.

Since then, The Group has achieved recognition on a greater level, undertaking projects of all sizes.

The growth of The Group, including the acquisition of Martins Tool Hire, and the ever increasing client list is testament to the skills and quality of workmanship of its workforce and the consistent and professional approach of the principal figures in The Champion Group of Companies.

CONTINUAL TRAINING

To keep up to date with current building techniques and directives, all our workforce receive training. In fact we have anything up to 20 employees on apprenticeship based courses at any one time resulting in fully qualified craftsmen

We are very proud that our training policy has and continues to be a great success. It has provided the Group with highly trained and skilled staff ranging from Group Health & Safety Manager, Advanced Scaffolding Erectors, top class Bricklayers, Carpenters, HGV Drivers, Plant Operators, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators.
